     Sir Robert Alexander Baillie of Polkemmet, 4th Bt. was born on 24 August 1859.¹ He was the son of Thomas Baillie and Elizabeth Ballingall.¹ He married Isabel Wilkie, daughter of David Elliot Wilkie, on 13 July 1887.¹ He died on 16 October 1907 at age 48.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Australian Squadron, King's Colonial Imperial Yeomanry.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Baillie, of Polkemmet, Linlithgowshire [U.K., 1823] on 2 April 1896.¹

     David Gregory Marshall was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He lived at White Hill, Fen Ditton, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Joanna Mary Cavendish was born on 20 July 1938.¹ She is the daughter of John Charles Compton Cavendish, 5th Baron Chesham and Mary Edmunds Marshall.² She married Peter Henry Mabille Price, son of Commander Maurice Price, on 23 July 1960.¹
     From 23 July 1960, her married name became Price. She lived in 2003 at Pin Hill Farm, Sidbury, Devon, England^G.¹

     Nicholas Charles Cavendish, 6th Baron Chesham was born on 7 November 1941.¹ He was the son of John Charles Compton Cavendish, 5th Baron Chesham and Mary Edmunds Marshall.² He married, firstly, Susan Donne Beauchamp, daughter of Dr. Frederick Guy Beauchamp and Hon. Susan Silence North, on 4 November 1965.¹ He and Susan Donne Beauchamp were divorced in 1969.³ He married, secondly, Suzanne Adrienne Byrne, daughter of Alan Gray Byrne, in 1973.¹ He died on 27 August 2009 at age 67.⁴
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was registered as a Associate, Society of Accountants (A.C.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Chesham, of Chesham, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1858] on 23 December 1989.¹ He held the office of Deputy Chief Government Whip of the House of Lords between 1995 and 1997.¹ He held the office of Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords between 1998 and 1999.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Old Post House, Church Street, Ropley, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Georgina Mary Cavendish was born on 8 September 1944.¹ She is the daughter of John Charles Compton Cavendish, 5th Baron Chesham and Mary Edmunds Marshall.² She married Michael Wynne Tufnell, son of Captain Michael Neville Tufnell and Patricia Wynne Chapman, on 11 November 1967.¹
     From 11 November 1967, her married name became Tufnell. She lived in 2003 at High Dell Farmhouse, Bighton, Alresford, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Catherine Wotton, Countess of Chesterfield was born in 1609. She was the daughter of Thomas Wotton, 2nd Baron Wotton of Marley and Mary Throckmorton.^3,4 She married, firstly, Sir Henry Stanhope, Lord Stanhope, son of Philip Stanhope, 1st Earl of Chesterfield and Catherine Hastings, on 4 December 1628 at Boughton Malherbe, Kent, England^G.³ She married, secondly, Jan Polyander van der Kerchhove, Heer van Henvliet in 1641.^3,5 She married, thirdly, Colonel Daniel O'Neale, son of Conn O'Neill and Alice O'Neill, after 1660.⁶ She died on 9 April 1667 at Belsize^G, from dropsy.⁴ She was buried at Boughton Malherbe, Kent, England^G.⁶ Her will was proven (by probate) on 12 April 1667.⁶
     Her married name became Stanhope. From after 1635, her married name became van der Kerchhove.³ From after 1660, her married name became O'Neale.⁶ She was created 1st Countess of Chesterfield [England] on 29 May 1660, suo jure, for life.⁴ Her last will was dated 15 December 1666.

     Sir John Stanhope was the son of Sir Thomas Stanhope and Margaret Port.² He married, firstly, Cordell Alington, daughter of Richard Alington.¹ He married Catherine Trentham, daughter of Thomas Trentham and Jane Sneyd.² He died in 1611.¹
     He lived at Elvaston, Derbyshire, England^G.³ He was appointed Knight on 22 April 1603.² He lived at Shelford, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Cordell Alington is the daughter of Richard Alington.¹ She married Sir John Stanhope, son of Sir Thomas Stanhope and Margaret Port.¹

     Catherine Trentham was the daughter of Thomas Trentham and Jane Sneyd.^1,2 She married Sir John Stanhope, son of Sir Thomas Stanhope and Margaret Port.¹

     Thomas Trentham was born on 21 April 1538.² He was the son of Richard Trentham.² He married Jane Sneyd in 1561.² He died circa May 1587.² He was buried on 25 May 1587 at Rocester Abbey, Staffordshire, England^G.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Staffordshire between 1571 and 1581.² He held the office of Sheriff of Staffordshire from 1579 to 1580.² He lived at Rochester Priory, Staffordshire, England^G.¹
