     Captain Hon. Thomas Lister was born on 2 May 1878.1 He was the son of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblesdale and Charlotte Monkton Tennant.1 He died on 10 January 1904 at age 25 at Jidballi, SomalilandG, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.1 He fought in the Somaliland Campaign between 1903 and 1904.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Mathew Richard Henry Wilson, 4th Bt. was born on 25 August 1875.2 He was the son of Sir Mathew Amcotts Wilson, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Mary Lee.3 He married Hon. Barbara Lister, daughter of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblesdale and Charlotte Monkton Tennant, on 7 September 1905.1 He died on 17 May 1958 at age 82.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Hussars War.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1911.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for South-West Bethnal Green between 1914 and 1922.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Wilson, of Eshton Hall, co. York [U.K., 1874] on 18 January 1914.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st County of London Yeomanry (Middlesex Hussars.)2
