     Sir John Osborne, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Richard Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth (?)² He married Elizabeth Walsingham, daughter of Colonel Thomas Walsingham and Lady Anne Howard, in 1699.¹ He died on 4 April 1713, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Osborne, of Ballintaylor and Ballylemon, co. Waterford [I., 1629] on 2 March 1685.¹

     Colonel Thomas Walsingham married Lady Anne Howard, daughter of Theophilus Howard, 2nd Earl of Suffolk and Lady Elizabeth Home.¹
