John Cuninghame, 13th of Craigends was born between 12 February 1759 and 13 February 1759.2 He was the son of William Cuninghame, 10th of Craigends and Margaret Cuninghame. He married, firstly, Frances Maxwell, daughter of Sir James Maxwell of Auldhouse, 6th Bt. and Frances Colhoun, before 1797.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Cuningham-Fairlie, daughter of Sir William Cuningham-Fairlie of Robertland and Fairlie, 6th Bt. and Anne Colquhoun, in July 1800.1 He died in 1822.2
