     William Stewart, 1st of Dunduff was born circa 1500.2 He was the son of Andrew Stewart, 1st Lord Avandale and Margaret Kennedy.1 He married Isabel Kerr.1 He died in 1552.2
     He held the office of Scottish Ambassador to France in 1528.2 He was living in 1548.1
