Lt.-Col. Charles Hector Congdon was the son of Colonel Ernest Charles Lambert Congdon.2 He married Marjorie Rose Elphinstone, daughter of John Elphinstone of Glack and Emma Eliza Betham, on 20 January 1916.1 He died on 11 January 1958.1
