Olive Harriet Cotton-Jodrell was born circa 1884.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Sir Edward Thomas Davenant Cotton-Jodrell and Mary Rennell Coleridge.2 She married Admiral Richard Greville Arthur Wellington Stapleton-Cotton, son of Colonel Hon. Richard Southwell George Stapleton-Cotton and Hon. Jane Charlotte Methuen, on 9 August 1910.1 She died on 31 July 1978.2
From 9 August 1910, her married name became Stapleton-Cotton. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.2
