Frederick George North, 8th Earl of Guilford and Mary Violet Pawson, on 9 June 1927.¹ She married, secondly, Charles Harman Hunt, son of Charles Henry Hunt, on 25 June 1947.¹ She died in December 1993.¹

     Lt.-Col. Frederick George North, 8th Earl of Guilford was born on 19 November 1876.² He was the son of Dudley Francis North, 7th Earl of Guilford and Georgiana Chetwynd.² He married Mary Violet Pawson, daughter of William Hargrave Pawson and Hon. Emily Violet Jervis, on 25 June 1901.² He died on 9 November 1949 at age 72.²
     He succeeded as the 10th Baron of Guilford, co. Surrey [E., 1683] on 19 December 1885.² He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Guilford [G.B., 1752] on 19 December 1885.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal East Kent Yeomanry.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kent.²
