Sir Charles Merrik Burrell, 3rd Bt. was born on 24 May 1774 at Golden Square, London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Sir William Burrell, 2nd Bt. and Sophia Raymond.1 He married Frances Wyndham, daughter of George O'Brien Wyndham, 3rd Earl of Egremont and Elizabeth Ilive, on 4 July 1808 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 4 January 1862 at age 87 at Knepp Castle, West Grinstead, Sussex, EnglandG.2
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Raymond, of Valentine House, co. Essex [G.B., 1774] on 20 January 1796.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for New Shoreham between 1806 and 1862.1 He was known as the 'father' of the House of Commons.1

Katherine Annabella Bishopp, on 26 August 1856 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 19 July 1876 at age 64 at 44 Belgrave Square, London, EnglandG, without issue.2
