     Elizabeth Scrope was born illegitimately. She is the daughter of Emmanuel Scrope, 1st Earl of Sunderland and Martha Jeanes. She married Thomas Savage, 3rd Earl Rivers, son of John Savage, 2nd Earl Rivers and Catherine Parker.
     Her married name became Savage.

     Sir Roger Norwich, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 September 1636. He was the son of Sir John Norwich, 1st Bt. and Anne Smith. He married Catherine Fermor, daughter of Sir Hatton Fermor. He died on 23 September 1691 at age 55.
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Norwich in 1661. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) He gained the rank of Colonel in 1680 in the Northamptonshire Militia.
