     Sir Humphrey Brigges, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1650.¹ He was the son of Sir Humphrey Brigges, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Wilbraham.¹ He married Barbara Wyndham, daughter of Sir Wadham Wyndham and Barbara Clarke.¹ He died in 1699.¹
     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 25 November 1687.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Brigges, of Haughton, co. Salop. [E., 1641] circa May 1691.¹

     Barbara Wyndham was born on 7 November 1649.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Wadham Wyndham and Barbara Clarke.¹ She married Sir Humphrey Brigges, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Humphrey Brigges, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Wilbraham.¹ She died before 1699.¹ She died intestate and her estate was administered on 6 May 1700.¹
     Her married name became Brigges.¹

     Sir Wadham Wyndham was born on 29 October 1609.^2,3 He was the son of Sir John Wyndham and Joan Portman.⁴ He married Barbara Clarke, daughter of Sir George Clarke.³ He died on 24 December 1668 at age 59.^2,3
     He held the office of Justice of the Court of King's Bench.¹ He lived at Norrington, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Barbara Clarke is the daughter of Sir George Clarke.¹ She married Sir Wadham Wyndham, son of Sir John Wyndham and Joan Portman.²

     Sir Humphrey Brigges, 4th Bt. was born circa 1670.¹ He was the son of Sir Humphrey Brigges, 3rd Bt. and Barbara Wyndham.¹ He died on 8 December 1734 at Haughton, Shifnal, Shropshire, England^G, unmarried.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in February 1735.¹
     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1687.¹ He matriculated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 3 July 1687.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Brigges, of Haughton, co. Salop. [E., 1641] in 1699.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shropshire from 1700 to 1701.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgnorth between 1702 and 1710.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wenlock between 1716 and 1727.¹

     Sir Hugh Brigges, 5th Bt. was born circa 1684.¹ He was the son of Sir Humphrey Brigges, 3rd Bt. and Barbara Wyndham.¹ He died on 27 October 1767, unmarried.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in November 1767.¹
     He matriculated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 17 December 1708.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Brigges, of Haughton, co. Salop. [E., 1641] on 8 December 1734.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Shropshire from 1747 to 1748.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Elizabeth Norcliffe was the daughter of Sir Thomas Norcliffe and Dorothy Fairfax.¹ She married Sir John Bright, 1st and last Bt., son of Stephen Bright and Jane Westbye, circa 1665.¹ She died on 26 June 1674.¹
     From circa 1665, her married name became Bright.¹
