Sir Lawrence Hugh Williams, 9th Bt. was born on 25 August 1929.1 He was the son of Colonel Lawrence Williams and Elinor Henrietta Williams.2 He married Sara Margaret Helen Platt, daughter of Sir Harry Platt, 1st Bt. and Gertrude Sarah Turnley, on 13 September 1952.1 He died on 19 April 2018 at age 88.3
