She was the daughter of Sir Harry Platt, 1st Bt. and Gertrude Sarah Turnley.1 She married Sir Lawrence Hugh Williams, 9th Bt., son of Colonel Lawrence Williams and Elinor Henrietta Williams, on 13 September 1952.2 She died on 14 November 2016 at age 88.3
