Sir Edward Mansel, 4th Bt. was born circa 1637.1 He was the son of Sir Lewis Mansel, 2nd Bt. and Lady Elizabeth Montagu.2 He married Martha Carne, daughter of Edward Carne and Martha Wyndham, circa 1665.1 He died on 17 November 1706.1
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Mansel [E., 1611] circa 1640.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan in 1660.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan between 1670 and 1679.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan in 1681.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan between 1685 and 1697.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Glamorgan in 1688, but he refused to undertake the duties of that office.2

Hon. Robert Mansell was born on 2 November 1695.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Mansell, 1st Baron Mansell of Margam and Martha Millington.2 He married Anne Shovel, daughter of Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovel and Elizabeth Hill, circa April 1718.1 He died on 29 April 1723 at age 27.1

Anne Shovel was the daughter of Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovel and Elizabeth Hill.2,3 She married, firstly, Hon. Robert Mansell, son of Sir Thomas Mansell, 1st Baron Mansell of Margam and Martha Millington, circa April 1718.1 She married, secondly, John Blackwood after 1723.2 She died on 20 October 1741.2
