     Sir Robert Wingfield was the son of Sir Robert Wingfield and Elizabeth Russell.2 He married Elizabeth Goushill, daughter of Sir Robert Goushill and Lady Elizabeth Fitzalan.3 He died between 6 October 1452 and 21 November 1454.3
     He was appointed Knight in 1426.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk from 1428 to 1429.2 He lived at Letheringham, Suffolk, EnglandG.3

     Mason Gerald Stratford, 5th Earl of Aldborough was born on 8 July 1784.1 He was the son of Benjamin O'Neale Stratford, 4th Earl of Aldborough and Martha Burton.1 He married, firstly, Cornelia Jane Tandy, daughter of Charles Henry Tandy and Cornelia King, on 2 August 1804 at Kirkcudbright, ScotlandG.1 He married, secondly, Mary Arundell, daughter of Samuel Arundell and Adriana (?), on 23 September 1826 at British Embassy, Paris, FranceG, in a bigamous marriage, which was not upheld as a valid marraige.1 He and Cornelia Jane Tandy were divorced on 6 December 1826 by decree of the Arches Court of Canterbury.1 He died on 4 October 1849 at age 65 at LeghornG.1 He was buried on 8 October 1849 at LeghornG.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Amiens [I., 1777] on 11 July 1833. He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Aldborough, of the Palatinate of Upper Ormond [I., 1777] on 11 July 1833.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Aldborough, of Belan, co. Kildare [I., 1776] on 11 July 1833. He succeeded as the 5th Baron of Baltinglass, co. Wicklow [I., 1763] on 11 July 1833. His last will was dated 13 July 1849 at LeghornG.1
     Gibbs states, "by his own showing the Earl must have been an exceptional scoundrel and bigamous betrayer of women under cover of pretended marraige."1

     He lived at Wolfhall, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 He had three other sons and four daughters by his first wife.2
