     John Stourton, 1st Baron Stourton was born circa 1399.1 He was the son of William de Stourton and Elizabeth Moigne.1 He married Marjory Wadham, daughter of Sir John Wadham and Joan Wrottesley, after 1411.1 He died on 25 November 1462.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wiltshire in 1421.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dorset in 1423.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wiltshire in 1425.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire from 1426 to 1427.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Dorset in 1428.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset in 1428.1 He was appointed Knight before 1432.1 He held the office of Sheriff of the Welsh Marches in 1432.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Gloucester in 1432.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1433.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1437.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1437.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Gloucester in 1439.1 He held the office of Treasurer of the Household before 1446.1 He was created 1st Baron Stourton, of Stourton, co.      Cornelia Jane Tandy was the daughter of Charles Henry Tandy and Cornelia King.1 She married Mason Gerald Stratford, 5th Earl of Aldborough, son of Benjamin O'Neale Stratford, 4th Earl of Aldborough and Martha Burton, on 2 August 1804 at Kirkcudbright, ScotlandG.1 She and Mason Gerald Stratford, 5th Earl of Aldborough were divorced on 6 December 1826 by decree of the Arches Court of Canterbury.1 She died on 5 August 1877 at Mulgrave Terrace, Kingstown, County Dublin, IrelandG.1
     From 2 August 1804, her married name became Stratford.1
     Gibbs quotes, "the readiest, quickest person in conversation, I have ever seen, was she quieter she would be more agreeable; the truth is however, she knows too well the imprudences of her past life, and she is fighting for her place in Society by the perpetual exercise of her talents."1

     Sir Philip Wentworth was born in 1423. He was the son of Sir Roger Wentworth and Margaret Despenser.1 He married Mary Clifford, daughter of Sir John de Clifford, 7th Lord Clifford and Elizabeth Percy. He died on 18 May 1464, beheaded.1
     He fought in the Battle of Hexham on 14 May 1464.1
