Sir George William Abercromby of Birkenbog, 8th Bt. was born on 18 March 1886.1 He was the son of Sir Robert John Abercromby of Birkenbog, 7th Bt. and Florence Anita Eyre Coote.1 He married Eleanor Anderson, daughter of Sir Arthur Robert Anderson, on 17 January 1935.2 He died on 9 September 1964 at age 78, without issue.3
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Abercromby, of Birkenbog, co. Banff [N.S., 1636] on 24 July 1895, and 'of Forglen House, co. General Sir David Baird of Newbyth, 1st Bt. was born on 6 December 1757.1 He was the son of William Baird, 5th of Newbyth and Alicia Johnston.1 He married Anne Preston Menzies Campbell Preston, daughter of Major Patrick Preston, Younger of Valleyfield, on 4 August 1810.1 He died on 18 August 1829 at age 71, without issue.1
