     Lady Mary Cecilia Rhodesia Hamilton was born on 21 January 1896.¹ She was the daughter of James Albert Edward Hamilton, 3rd Duke of Abercorn and Lady Rosalind Cecilia Caroline Bingham.¹ She married, firstly, Major Robert Orlando Rodolph Kenyon-Slaney, son of Colonel Rt. Hon. William Slaney Kenyon-Slaney and Lady Mabel Selina Bridgeman, on 24 May 1917.¹ She and Major Robert Orlando Rodolph Kenyon-Slaney were divorced in 1930.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Sir John Little Gilmour of Craigmillar, 2nd Bt., son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Wolrige Gordon, 8th of Craigmillar and 13th of Liberton, 1st Bt. and Lady Susan Lygon, on 26 November 1930.¹ She died on 5 September 1984 at age 88.¹
     From 24 May 1917, her married name became Kenyon-Slaney. From 26 November 1930, her married name became Gilmour.

     Major Robert Orlando Rodolph Kenyon-Slaney was born on 13 January 1892.² He was the son of Colonel Rt. Hon.
