     Hon. Heather Charlotte Tonson was born on 23 March 1779.² She was the daughter of William Tonson, 1st Baron Riversdale of Rathcormuck and Rose Bernard.^3,2 She married Maj.-Gen. Patrick Baird, son of William Baird, 5th of Newbyth and Alicia Johnston, on 27 February 1802.¹ She died on 27 June 1850 at age 71.¹
     From 27 February 1802, her married name became Baird.¹

     William Tonson, 1st Baron Riversdale of Rathcormuck was born on 3 May 1724.¹ He was the son of Richard Tonson and Peniel Gates.² He married Rose Bernard, daughter of James Bernard and Esther Smith, on 13 November 1773.³ He died on 4 December 1787 at age 63.¹
     He was given the name of William Hull at birth.¹ He was created 1st Baron Riversdale of Rathcormuck, co. Cork [Great Britain] on 13 October 1783.¹
