     Rebecca White was born circa 1697.1 She was the daughter of John White and Jane Williamson.1,2 She married Sir Griffith Boynton, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Col. William Boynton and Elizabeth Bernard, in November 1728 at London, EnglandG.1 She died on 8 October 1732 at Wallingwells, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 She was buried on 27 October 1732 at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in May 1733.1
     From November 1728, her married name became Boynton.1

     John White was the son of Thomas White and Anne Hartopp.2,3 He married Jane Williamson, daughter of Sir Thomas Williamson, 1st Bt. and Jane Hussey.2
     He lived at Tuxford, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Nottinghamshire between 1678 and 1698.1

     Sir Francis Boynton, 4th Bt. was baptised on 17 November 1677 at Barmston, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Boynton and Dorothy Amcotts.1 He married Frances Heblethwayte, daughter of James Heblethwayte and Bridget Cobb, on 8 April 1703 at Beverley, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He died on 16 September 1739 at age 61.1 He was buried at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
     He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was a practising Barrister at Law.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Boynton, of Barmston, co. York [E., 1618] on 22 December 1731.1 He held the office of Recorder of Beverley in 1733.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Heydon between 1734 and 1739.1

     From 8 April 1703, her married name became Boynton.1
