     Thomas FitzMaurice FitzGerald, 7th Earl of Kildare was born circa 1421.2 He was the son of John fitz Maurice FitzGerald and Rose Basset.1,2 He married Lady Joan FitzGerald, daughter of James FitzGerald, 6th Earl of Desmond and Mary de Burgh.2 He died on 25 March 1477.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Kildare [I., 1316] before 1436.2 He held the office of Justiciar of Ireland in 1454.2 He held the office of Justiciar of Ireland between 1461 and 1470.2 He held the office of Chancellor of Ireland in 1462.2

     John fitz Maurice FitzGerald was the son of Maurice FitzThomas FitzGerald, 4th Earl of Kildare and Elizabeth Burghersh.2,3 He married, secondly, Rose Basset.4 He married, firstly, Margaret de la Herne.4 He died before 1434.1
     He was also known as John Fitzgerald.5 John fitz Maurice FitzGerald also went by the nick-name of John Cam (or in English, Crouchback.)1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Kildare [I., 1316] on 16 October 1432, de jure.4 He lived at Castletown Kildrought, County Kildare, IrelandG.4

     Maurice FitzThomas FitzGerald, 4th Earl of Kildare was born in 1318.2 He was the son of Thomas FitzJohn FitzGerald, 2nd Earl of Kildare and Lady Joan de Burgh.3,4 He married Elizabeth Burghersh, daughter of Bartholomew Burghersh, 1st Lord Burghersh and Elizabeth de Verdun, in 1347.5 He died on 15 August 1390.1,2
     He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Kildare [I., 1316] on 7 July 1333.2 He was appointed Knight in 1347.2 He held the office of Justiciar of Ireland between 1356 and 1361.2 He held the office of Justiciar of Ireland in 1376.2

     Thomas FitzJohn FitzGerald, 2nd Earl of Kildare was the son of John FitzThomas FitzGerald, 1st Earl of Kildare and Blanche de la Roche.1 He married Lady Joan de Burgh, daughter of Richard de Burgh, 2nd Earl of Ulster and Margaret de Guînes, on 16 August 1312 at Greencastle, County Down, IrelandG.2 He died on 5 April 1328.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Kildare [I., 1316] on 12 September 1316.3 He held the office of Deputy Justiciar of Ireland in 1320.2 He held the office of Lord Justice of Ireland between 1326 and 1328.2 He held the office of Justiciar of Ireland from 1327 to 1328.2

     Lady Joan de Burgh was the daughter of Richard de Burgh, 2nd Earl of Ulster and Margaret de Guînes.1 She married, firstly, Thomas FitzJohn FitzGerald, 2nd Earl of Kildare, son of John FitzThomas FitzGerald, 1st Earl of Kildare and Blanche de la Roche, on 16 August 1312 at Greencastle, County Down, IrelandG.2 She married, secondly, Sir John Darcy, 1st Lord Darcy de Knayth, son of Sir Roger Darcy and Isabel d'Aton, on 3 July 1329.3 She died on 23 April 1359.1
     From 16 August 1312, her married name became FitzGerald.1 After her marriage, Lady Joan de Burgh was styled as Countess of Kildare on 12 September 1316. From 3 July 1329, her married name became Darcy.3

     Elizabeth Burghersh was the daughter of Bartholomew Burghersh, 1st Lord Burghersh and Elizabeth de Verdun.2 She married Maurice FitzThomas FitzGerald, 4th Earl of Kildare, son of Thomas FitzJohn FitzGerald, 2nd Earl of Kildare and Lady Joan de Burgh, in 1347.2
     After her marriage, Elizabeth Burghersh was styled as Countess of Kildare in 1347. From 1347, her married name became FitzGerald.2

     Elizabeth de Verdun was the daughter of Sir Theobald de Verdun, 2nd Lord Verdun and Maud de Mortimer.2 She married Bartholomew Burghersh, 1st Lord Burghersh, son of Robert Burghersh, 1st Lord Burghersh and Maud Badlesmere, before 11 June 1320.2 She died in 1360.2 She was buried at Greyfriars, London, EnglandG.2
     From before 11 June 1320, her married name became Burghersh.1
