     Major Albemarle Cator Annesley was born on 12 January 1874.1 He was the son of Captain William Henry Annesley and Lucy Ann Kelly.1 He married Florence Lalande Ravenshaw, daughter of John Hurdis Ravenshaw and Harriet Lalande Biggs, on 23 November 1901.1 He died on 8 July 1916 at age 42, from wounds received in action, without issue.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in the 6th Service Battalion.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1916, where he was again mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)2

Colonel Thomas Foley Churchill Winnington1

     Colonel Thomas Foley Churchill Winnington was born on 16 August 1910.2 He was the son of Francis Salwey Winnington and Blanche Emma Casberd-Boteler.2 He married Lady Betty Marjorie Anson, daughter of Thomas Edward Anson, 4th Earl of Lichfield and Evelyn Maud Keppel, on 20 May 1944.2 He died in April 1999 at age 88 at Kensington, London, England.2,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1948.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.2

     Sir John Henry Wiggin, 4th Bt. was born on 3 March 1921.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Charles Richard Henry Wiggin, 3rd Bt. and Mabel Violet Mary Jaffray.1 He married, firstly, Lady Cecilia Evelyn Anson, daughter of Thomas Edward Anson, 4th Earl of Lichfield and Evelyn Maud Keppel, on 30 September 1947.2 He and Lady Cecilia Evelyn Anson were divorced in 1961.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Forster, daughter of Brigadier Stewart Arthur Forster, on 8 February 1963.1 He died in 1992.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1946.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire in 1966.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Wiggin, of Metchley Grange, Harborne, Staffordshire [U.K., 1892] on 16 September 1972.1

     Katherine Thynne was the daughter of Sir Henry Frederick Thynne, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary Coventry. She married John Lowther, 1st Viscount Lonsdale, son of Colonel John Lowther and Elizabeth Bellingham, on 3 December 1674. She died after 25 June 1713.
     Her married name became Lowther.

     Richard Lowther, 2nd Viscount Lonsdale was born before 1694.1 He was the son of John Lowther, 1st Viscount Lonsdale and Katherine Thynne.1 He died on 1 December 1713, from smallpox, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lowther, of Lowther, co. Westmorland [N.S., 1638] on 10 July 1700.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Lonsdale, co. Westmorland [E., 1696] on 10 July 1700.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Lowther of Lowther, co. Westmorland [E., 1696] on 10 July 1700.1

     Henry Lowther, 3rd Viscount Lonsdale was born in 1694.1 He was the son of John Lowther, 1st Viscount Lonsdale and Katherine Thynne.1 He died on 12 March 1750/51, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Lowther, of Lowther, co. Westmorland [N.S., 1638] on 1 December 1713.1 He gained the title of 3rd Viscount Lonsdale, co. Westmorland [E., 1696] on 1 December 1713.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Lowther of Lowther, co. Westmorland [E., 1696] on 1 December 1713.1 In 1715 he mustered 10,000 troops to counter the Jacobites.1 He held the office of Lord of the Bedchamber between 1717 and 1727.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1726.1 He held the office of Constable of the Tower of London between 1726 and 1731.1 He held the office of Lord Privy Seal between 1733 and 1735.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cumberland and Westmorland between March 1738 and 1750/51.1
     On his death, the Viscounty of Lonsdale became extinct, but the Baronetcy and estates devolved on his heir male, Sir James Lowther, afterwards Earl of Lonsdale.1

     Richard Lowther was the son of Sir John Lowther, 1st Bt. and Mary Fletcher.1 He married Barbara Prickett, daughter of Robert Prickett.1
     He lived at Maulds Meaburn, Cumberland, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Appleby in 1688.1
