     Thomas Whaley was born on 15 December 1766 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Richard Chapell Whaley and Anne Ward.¹ He married Mary Lawless, daughter of Nicholas Lawless, 1st Baron Cloncurry and Margaret Browne, in 1799.¹ He died on 2 November 1800 at age 33 at Knutsford, Cheshire, England.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle, County Dublin [Ireland] between 1785 and 1798.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Enniscorthy [Ireland] between 1798 and 1800.¹

     Lady Anne Meade is the daughter of John Meade, 1st Earl of Clanwilliam and Theodosia Magill.¹ She married John Whaley, son of Richard Chapell Whaley and Anne Ward.¹
     Her married name became Whaley.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Whaley was the son of Richard Chapell Whaley and Anne Ward.¹ He died in 1843.¹

     Traugott Albrecht Freiherr von Retzenstein was born on 11 November 1737.¹ He married Friederike Wilhelmine von Spitznas, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hans Adolf von Spitznas and Christiane Charlotte Friederike Freiin von Pöllnitz, on 22 January 1767.¹ He died on 22 September 1809 at age 71.¹

     Friederike Wilhelmine von Spitznas was born on 3 February 1748.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hans Adolf von Spitznas and Christiane Charlotte Friederike Freiin von Pöllnitz.² She married Traugott Albrecht Freiherr von Retzenstein on 22 January 1767.¹ She died on 30 August 1819 at age 71.¹
