     Daniel O'Brien was the son of Daniel O'Brien, 3rd Viscount Clare and Philadelphia Lennard.1 He died on 4 October 1693 at PignerolG, from wounds received in action, unmarried.1
     He was commander of the regiment on 7 April 1690 which he conveyed to France.1 He was styled as Viscount Clare between 1691 and 1693.1 He fought in the Battle of Marsaglia on 4 October 1693, where he was mortally wounded.1

     Charles O'Brien was the son of Daniel O'Brien, 3rd Viscount Clare and Philadelphia Lennard.1 He married Charlotte Bulkeley, daughter of Hon. Henry Bulkeley and Sophia Stuart, on 9 January 1696/97 at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, FranceG.1 He died on 23 May 1706 at Brussels, BelgiumG, from wounds received in action.1 He was buried at Irish Monastery, Brussels, BelgiumG.1
     In December 1688 he accompanied the Queen Consort in her flight from London.1 He was commander of the French regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of Marsaglia in 1693.1 He was styled as Viscount Clare between 1693 and 1706.1 Before 1699 he was outlawed as a Jacobite.2 He fought in the Battle of Blenheim in 1703.1 He fought in the Battle of Ramilles in 1706, where he was mortally wounded.1

     Charlotte Bulkeley is the daughter of Hon. Henry Bulkeley and Sophia Stuart.1 She married, firstly, Charles O'Brien, son of Daniel O'Brien, 3rd Viscount Clare and Philadelphia Lennard, on 9 January 1696/97 at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, FranceG.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Daniel O'Mahony, Comte de Castile on 19 July 1712 at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, FranceG.1
     From 9 January 1696/97, her married name became O'Brien.1 From 19 July 1712, her married name became Mahoney.1

     Marie Geneviève Louise Gauthier was born circa 1737.2 She was the daughter of François Gauthier, Marquis de Chiffreville.2 She married Charles O'Brien, son of Charles O'Brien and Charlotte Bulkeley, in 1755.2 She died on 6 April 1763 at Paris, FranceG.2
     From 1755, her married name became O'Brien.2

     Antoine-César de Choiseul, Duc de Praslin was born on 6 April 1756.2 He married Antoinette Charlotte Marie Septimanie O'Brien, daughter of Charles O'Brien and Marie Geneviève Louise Gauthier, on 22 August 1775.1,2 He died on 28 January 1808 at age 51.2
     He gained the title of Duc de Praslin.1
