     Captain Streynsham Master was born in 1682.1 He was the son of James Master and Joyce Turnor.1 He married Elizabeth Oxenden, daughter of Richard Oxenden, circa February 1724.1 He died on 22 June 1724, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     From 27 May 1817, her married name became Dering.
