     Viola Emily Augusta Margaret Davies-Evans is the daughter of Herbert Davies-Evans and Mary Eleanor Geraldine Lilla Jones. She married Arthur Campbell Duckworth, son of Reverend William Arthur Duckworth and Hon. Edina Campbell, on 15 September 1897.
     Her married name became Duckworth.

     Arthur Campbell Duckworth was born in 1870. He was the son of Reverend William Arthur Duckworth and Hon. Edina Campbell. He married Viola Emily Augusta Margaret Davies-Evans, daughter of Herbert Davies-Evans and Mary Eleanor Geraldine Lilla Jones, on 15 September 1897.

     George Arthur Victor Duckworth was born on 3 January 1901 at York, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Arthur Campbell Duckworth and Viola Emily Augusta Margaret Davies-Evans. He married, firstly, Alice Frances Hammond, daughter of John Henry Hammond and Emily Vanderbilt Sloane, on 26 March 1927. He and Alice Frances Hammond were divorced.² He married, secondly, Elisabeth Ehrenfeld on 3 October 1945 at St. Mary's Church, Orchardleigh Park, Frome, Somerset, England^G.¹ He died on 14 November 1986 at age 85 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Alice Frances Hammond was born in 1913.¹ She was the daughter of John Henry Hammond and Emily Vanderbilt Sloane.¹ She married, firstly, George Arthur Victor Duckworth, son of Arthur Campbell Duckworth and Viola Emily Augusta Margaret Davies-Evans, on 26 March 1927. She and George Arthur Victor Duckworth were divorced.¹ She married, secondly, Benjamin David Goodman, son of David Goodman and Dora Grisinsky, on 14 March 1942.¹ She died in 1978.¹
     Her married name became Duckworth. From 14 March 1942, her married name became Goodman.¹

     Lt.-Col. Francis Cecil Campbell Balfour was born on 8 December 1884.² He was the son of Colonel Eustace James Anthony Balfour and Lady Frances Campbell.¹ He married Hon. Phyllis Evelyn Goschen, daughter of George Joachim Goschen, 2nd Viscount Goschen and Lady Margaret Evelyn Gathorne-Hardy, on 31 August 1920.² He died on 16 April 1965 at age 80.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was in the Sudan Political Service between 1906 and 1931.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 6th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers.² He fought in the First World War between 1917 and 1919, in Mesopotamia, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He was awarded the Order of the Nile 3rd class.² He was awarded the Order of the Lion and Sun of Persia 2nd class.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1919.^1,2 He was Military Secretary to the Governor of Madras between 1924 and 1926.² He held the office of Governor of the Red Sea Province of Sudan between 1927 and 1928.² He held the office of Governor of the Mongalla Province of Sudan between 1929 and 1931.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1931.^1,2 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1953.² He lived at The Cleeve, Ross, Herefordshire, England^G.

     Lt.-Col. Oswald Herbert Campbell Balfour was born in 1894.² He was the son of Colonel Eustace James Anthony Balfour and Lady Frances Campbell.¹ He died on 16 October 1953, unmarried.²
     He was Military Secretary to the Governor-General of Canada between 1921 and 1923.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1923.^1,2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1944.² He was Chairman of High Grade Steels.²

     Gillian Alison Duckworth was born on 5 July 1929. She is the daughter of George Arthur Victor Duckworth and Alice Frances Hammond.
