     Ralph Thicknesse was born on 28 October 1718.1 He was the son of Ralph Thicknesse and Alethea Bostock.2 He married Dorothy Bostock.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 Distinguished physician.1 And the author of several medical works.1 He lived The Oaks.1 In 1747 and of Balterley Hall (which he sold.1 )

     He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for -35 Wigan 1832.1 Wigan.1 He lived Beech Hill.1

     He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for -54 Wigan 1847.1 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) Lancashire.1 He lived Beech Hill.1
