     William Tatton Egerton, 1st Baron Egerton of Tatton was born on 30 December 1806.3 He was the son of Wilbraham Egerton and Elizabeth Sykes.1,2 He was baptised on 2 March 1807 at Rostherne, Cheshire, England.4 He married Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Loftus, daughter of John Loftus, 2nd Marquess of Ely and Anna Maria Dashwood, on 18 December 1830.2 He died on 21 February 1883 at age 76 at Altrincham, Cheshire, England.2,4
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Chester.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lymington.2 He was created 1st Baron Egerton of Tatton, co. Chester [U.K.] on 15 April 1859.2

     He gained the rank of officer in the Durham Light Infantry.1

     Major John Edward Hamilton Tollemache, 4th Baron Tollemache of Helmingham was born on 24 April 1910.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Edward Devereux Hamilton Tollemache and Violet Aline Ridgeway.2,1 He married Dinah Susan Jamieson, daughter of Sir Archibald Auldjo Jamieson and Doris Pearce, on 16 February 1939.2 He died on 27 May 1975 at age 65.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Reserve of Officers, Coldstream Guards.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1940.2 He was chairman of Tollemache's Breweries Ltd, Star Brewery, Cambridge, G T Jones (Oxford) Ltd and Barwell and Sons (Norwich) Ltd.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Tollemache of Helmingham, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1876] on 13 January 1955.1 He was director of Tollemache and Cobbold Breweries Ltd, General Reinsurance Company, NRG Reinsurance Company Ltd and New London Reinsurance Company.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk in 1958.2

     Dinah Susan Jamieson was born on 22 May 1918. She was the daughter of Sir Archibald Auldjo Jamieson and Doris Pearce.1,2 She married Major John Edward Hamilton Tollemache, 4th Baron Tollemache of Helmingham, son of Maj.-Gen. Edward Devereux Hamilton Tollemache and Violet Aline Ridgeway, on 16 February 1939.1 She died on 10 January 1998 at age 79.1
     Her married name became Tollemache. After her marriage, Dinah Susan Jamieson was styled as Baroness Tollemache of Helmingham on 13 January 1955.
