He married Margaret Evelyn Fuller Maitland, daughter of Thomas Fuller Maitland and Anna Stevens Valpy, in December 1884. He died on 22 January 1903 at age 48 at St AlbansG.

Jacob Whitbread was born on 29 January 1782.1 He was the son of Jacob Whitbread and Anne Elizabeth Hinde. He married Louisa Michell, daughter of Admiral Sampson Michell and Ann Shears, in 1809.2 He died in 1829.
