     Bartlett Bridger Shedden lived at Aldham Hall, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 December 1826 at London, England.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Barrett-Lennard and Mary Shedden.¹ He married Emma Wood, daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell, on 18 January 1853.¹ He died on 16 January 1919 at age 92.¹
     He graduated from St. Peter's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Barrett-Lennard, of Belhus, Essex [U.K., 1801] on 25 June 1857.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1865.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Monaghan in 1868.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Monaghan in 1900.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex.¹

     Emma Wood was born at Peckham, London, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell.¹ She married Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt., son of Thomas Barrett-Lennard and Mary Shedden, on 18 January 1853.¹ She died on 8 June 1916.¹
     From 18 January 1853, her married name became Barrett-Lennard.³

     Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 August 1796.² He was the son of Sir Matthew Wood, 1st Bt. and Maria Page.² He married Emma Caroline Michell, daughter of Admiral Sampson Michell and Ann Shears, on 16 February 1820.² He died on 21 February 1866 at age 69.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wood, of Hatherley House, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1837] on 25 September 1843.² He was the Vicar at Cressing, Essex, England.² He was the Rector at St. Peter's, Cornhill, London, England.²

     Emma Caroline Michell was born on 15 January 1802 at Lisbon, Portugal^G.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sampson Michell and Ann Shears.¹ She married Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Matthew Wood, 1st Bt. and Maria Page, on 16 February 1820.² She died on 15 December 1879 at age 77.²
     From 16 February 1820, her married name became Wood.²

     Admiral Sampson Michell was born in 1755 at Croft West, Truro, Cornwall, England^G. He was the son of Thomas Michell and Jane Sprey. He married Ann Shears. He died on 20 January 1809 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil^G.
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy (R.N.)¹ He gained the rank of Admiral in 1790 in the Portugese Navy.

     Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 3rd Bt. was born on 25 October 1853.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. and Emma Wood.¹ He was baptised on 10 November 1853 at St. Nichols, Brighton, Sussex, England.² He married Mary Price, daughter of Rev. Canon William Price, on 21 June 1884.¹ He died on 19 September 1923 at age 69, without issue.¹
     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Barrett-Lennard, of Belhus, Essex [U.K., 1801] on 16 January 1919.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex.¹

     Mary Price was the daughter of Rev. Canon William Price.¹ She married Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. and Emma Wood, on 21 June 1884.¹ She died on 2 April 1932.¹
     Her married name became Barrett-Lennard.

     Rev. Canon William Price was the Vicar at Llanarth, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.¹

     Charles Dacre Barrett-Lennard was born circa 1858. He was the son of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. and Emma Wood.¹ He died on 31 January 1860, in infancy.¹
