Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 December 1826 at London, England.1,2 He was the son of Thomas Barrett-Lennard and Mary Shedden.1 He married Emma Wood, daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell, on 18 January 1853.1 He died on 16 January 1919 at age 92.1
He graduated from St. Peter's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Barrett-Lennard, of Belhus, Essex [U.K., 1801] on 25 June 1857.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1865.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Monaghan in 1868.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Monaghan in 1900.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex.1

Emma Wood was born at Peckham, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. and Emma Caroline Michell.1 She married Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt., son of Thomas Barrett-Lennard and Mary Shedden, on 18 January 1853.1 She died on 8 June 1916.1

Reverend Sir John Page Wood, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 August 1796.2 He was the son of Sir Matthew Wood, 1st Bt. and Maria Page.2 He married Emma Caroline Michell, daughter of Admiral Sampson Michell and Ann Shears, on 16 February 1820.2 He died on 21 February 1866 at age 69.2
