     Maria Christiana Cleather is the daughter of Colonel unknown Cleather.² She married, firstly, Peter Fairbairn, son of Sir William Fairbairn, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Mar, in December 1854.¹ She married, secondly, Edward Halford on 6 August 1867.¹
     From December 1854, her married name became Fairbairn. From 6 August 1867, her married name became Halford.¹

     George Fairbairn was born on 24 March 1830.¹ He was the son of Sir William Fairbairn, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Mar.² He married Bessie Anne Bagshawe, daughter of Reverend Charles Frederic Bagshawe, on 11 July 1855.¹ He died on 5 December 1868 at age 38, without issue.¹

     Reverend Charles Frederic Bagshawe graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Bessie Anne Bagshawe was the daughter of Reverend Charles Frederic Bagshawe.² She married George Fairbairn, son of Sir William Fairbairn, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Mar, on 11 July 1855.¹ She died on 11 November 1918.¹
     From 11 July 1855, her married name became Fairbairn.

     Reverend Adam Henderson Fairbairn was born on 16 October 1836.¹ He was the son of Sir William Fairbairn, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Mar.² He married Anna Gertrude Fuller Maitland, daughter of Thomas Fuller Maitland and Anna Stevens Valpy, on 7 February 1864.¹ He died on 21 July 1888 at age 51.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³ He was the Rector at Fawley, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Thomas Fuller Maitland was born on 16 July 1817.² He was the son of Ebenezer Fuller Maitland and Bethia Ellis.² He married Anna Stevens Valpy, daughter of Captain Anthony Blagrave Valpy, on 9 May 1842.²
     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Buckinghamshire Militia.² He lived at Wargrave, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Anna Gertrude Fuller Maitland was born in 1844.² She was the daughter of Thomas Fuller Maitland and Anna Stevens Valpy.^3,2 She married Reverend Adam Henderson Fairbairn, son of Sir William Fairbairn, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Mar, on 7 February 1864.¹ She died on 16 May 1929.¹
     From 7 February 1864, her married name became Fairbairn.

     Adam Maitland Fairbairn was born on 24 November 1866.¹ He was the son of Reverend Adam Henderson Fairbairn and Anna Gertrude Fuller Maitland.² He married Grace Henfield Bagshawe, daughter of George Henry Bagshawe, on 14 June 1906.¹ He died on 15 May 1921 at age 54.¹
