     Jamie Alexander Fairbairn Hornby was born on 11 October 1976.¹ He is the son of Keith Anthony Delgado Hornby and Judith Constance Fairbairn.²
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from St. Andrew's University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.) (Hons.)¹

     George Fairbairn was born on 22 December 1869.¹ He was the son of William Andrew Fairbairn and Helen Birley.² He died on 12 March 1901 at age 31 at South Africa^G, on active service.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹

     Peter Fairbairn was born on 13 October 1828.¹ He was the son of Sir William Fairbairn, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Mar.² He married Maria Christiana Cleather, daughter of Colonel unknown Cleather, in December 1854.¹ He died on 18 August 1859 at age 30.¹
