Eliza Mary Twemlow is the daughter of General George Twemlow and Anna Maria Hannah D'Oyly.3,2 She married Maj.-Gen. Robert Michael Westropp, son of Captain Amos Freeman Westropp and Catherine Kenny, on 7 August 1852.1
From 7 August 1852, her married name became Westropp.

Maj.-Gen. James Edward Westropp was born on 25 July 1826.1 He was the son of Captain Amos Freeman Westropp and Catherine Kenny.2 He married Sarah Hall, daughter of William Winstanley Hall, on 7 May 1855.1 He died on 4 September 1874 at age 48, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Major-General in the Bombay Army.1
