Captain Amos Freeman Westropp was born on 26 April 1782.1 He was the son of Michael Roberts Westropp and Jane Godsell.2 He married Catherine Kenny, daughter of Venerable James Kenny and Jane Hickman, on 22 February 1822.1 He died on 1 February 1844 at age 61.
He fought in the Egyptian Campaign.1 He fought in the Battle of Copenhagen in 1801.1 He fought in the Battle of Camperdown.1 He fought in the Capture of Guadeloupe.1 He conveyed the Duke of Wellmgton to Lisbon.1 He fought in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.1 He escorted Napoleon to St. Helena.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

Maj.-Gen. Robert Michael Westropp was born on 19 November 1824.1 He was the son of Captain Amos Freeman Westropp and Catherine Kenny.2 He married Eliza Mary Twemlow, daughter of General George Twemlow and Anna Maria Hannah D'Oyly, on 7 August 1852.1 He died on 10 February 1910 at age 85.1
