Mary Roberts was the daughter of Dr. Llewelyn Roberts.2 She married John Spencer Hobhouse, son of Sir Reginald Arthur Hobhouse, 5th Bt. and Marjorie Chisholm Spencer, on 29 May 1940.1 She died in 1991.1

Benjamin Arthur Hobhouse was born on 25 April 1914.1 He was the son of Sir Reginald Arthur Hobhouse, 5th Bt. and Marjorie Chisholm Spencer.2 He married Valeria Cuthbertson Walker, daughter of Dr. John Cuthbertson Walker, on 14 November 1942.1 He died in 1970 at Bristol, England.1,3
He was educated at Bryanston School, Blandford, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Somerset Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
