     Evelyn Sherbrooke Crane was the daughter of Charles Anrold Crane.² She married, firstly, Sir Stanley Tubbs, 1st Bt. before 1944.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Alan Algernon Marion Durand, 3rd Bt., son of Colonel Sir Edward Law Durand, 1st Bt. and Maude Ellen Heber-Percy, on 6 June 1944.¹ She died on 23 June 1984.¹
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire in 1942.¹ From before 1944, her married name became Tubbs.¹ From 6 June 1944, her married name became Durand. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1955.¹
