     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Staffordshire between 1593 and 1597.¹

     Frances Sidney was born in 1531. She was the daughter of Sir William Sydney and Anne Pakenham.² She married Thomas Radcliffe, 3rd Earl of Sussex, son of Henry Radcliffe, 2nd Earl of Sussex and Lady Elizabeth Howard, before 29 April 1555.² She died on 9 March 1588/89.²
     From before 29 April 1555, her married name became Radcliffe. After her marriage, Frances Sidney was styled as Countess of Sussex on 17 February 1556/57. She was founder with a legacy of £5,000 of Sydney Sussex College Cambridge.²

     Helen Grace Brown was born circa 1872 at Victoria, Australia.¹ She married William Herbert Fawcett in 1891 at Pancras, London, England.¹ She died in 1953 at Worthing, Sussex, England.¹
     From 1891, her married name became Fawcett.¹
