     Sir George Hungerford was born circa 1637.1 He was the son of Edward Hungerford and Susan Pretyman.1 He married Frances Seymour, daughter of Charles Seymour, 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge and Mary Smith, on 5 April 1665.1 He died in 1712.1
     He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cricklade in 1661.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Calne in 1679.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Calne in 1681.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wiltshire between 1695 and 1701.1
