James Wogan Remnant, 3rd Baron Remnant was born on 23 October 1930.2 He was the son of Robert John Farquharson Remnant, 2nd Baron Remnant and Norah Susan Wogan-Browne.2 He married Serena Jane Loehnis, daughter of Commander Sir Clive Loehnis and Rosemary Beryl Ryder, on 24 June 1953.2 He died on 4 March 2022 at age 91.3
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1955 in the Coldstream Guards RARO.2 He was director of Australian Mercantile Land and Finance between 1957 and 1969.2 He was partner of Touche Ross and Company between 1958 and 1970.2 He was appointed, Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.)2 He was director of Australia and NZ Banking Group between 1965 and 1981.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Remnant, of Wenhaston, co. Catherine Anwyl was born at Penrhyn-deu-draeth, Monmouthshire, WalesG.1 She was the daughter of Owen Anwyl.1 She married Sir Griffith Williams, 6th Bt., son of Sir Hugh Williams, 5th Bt. and Anne Vaughan, on 7 April 1697.2 She died in 1726.1

Anne Williams is the daughter of Sir Griffith Williams, 6th Bt. and Catherine Anwyl.2,3 She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Prendergast, 2nd Bt., son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Thomas Prendergast, 1st Bt. and Penelope Cadogan, on 11 January 1739.1 She married, secondly, Captain Terence Williams in 1761.3 She and Captain Terence Williams were separated in 1762.3 She died on 15 December 1770, without issue.3

Sir Robert Williams, 7th Bt. was born on 3 May 1716.2 He was the son of Sir Griffith Williams, 6th Bt. and Catherine Anwyl.3,1 He died in November 1745 at age 29, unmarried.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his sister, Anne on 9 January 1745/46.1
