     Jane Emma Hannah Macan was born in 1824 at Calcutta, India.^1,2 She was the daughter of Major Turner Macan and Harriet Sneyd.¹ She married Captain Mark McDonnell, 5th Earl of Antrim, son of Vice-Admiral Lord Mark Robert Kerr and Charlotte MacDonnell, Countess of Antrim, on 27 April 1849.¹ She died on 21 April 1892 at Fettwecairne House, Kincardineshire, Scotland^G.¹ She was buried at Southill, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹
     From 27 April 1849, her married name became Kerr. After her marriage, Jane Emma Hannah Macan was styled as Countess of Antrim on 19 July 1855. From 8 November 1855, her married name became McDonnell.¹

     Lady Louisa Jane Grey was born on 15 February 1855 at St. James's Palace, St. James's, London, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Charles Grey and Caroline Eliza Farquhar.¹ She married William Randal McDonnell, 6th Earl of Antrim, son of Captain Mark McDonnell, 5th Earl of Antrim and Jane Emma Hannah Macan, on 1 June 1875 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ She died on 2 April 1949 at age 94.²
     From 1 June 1875, her married name became McDonnell. After her marriage, Lady Louisa Jane Grey was styled as Countess of Antrim on 1 June 1875. She held the office of a Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Victoria between 1890 and 1901.¹ On 16 April 1895 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.³ She was appointed Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.) 3rd class.¹ She held the office of a Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Alexandra in 1901.¹

     Lady Mary Pierrepont was baptised on 26 May 1689 at St. Paul's Church, Covent Gardens, London, England^G.² She was the daughter of Evelyn Pierrepont, 1st Duke of Kingston-upon-Hull and Lady Mary Feilding. She and Edward Wortley-Montagu obtained a marriage license on 12 August 1715.³ She died in 1762.⁴
     She was a celebrated diarist and letter-writer.³ Her married name became Wortley-Montagu. In 1719 she intriduced small-pox vaccination into England, after having her own children vaccinated earlier in Turkey.⁴

     Angela Christina Sykes was born on 6 September 1911.³ She was the daughter of Sir Tatton Benvenuto Mark Sykes, 6th Bt. and Edith Violet Gorst.^1,3 She married Randal John Somerled McDonnell, 8th Earl of Antrim, son of Randal Mark Kerr McDonnell, 7th Earl of Antrim and Margaret Isabel Talbot, on 11 May 1934.¹ She died in 1984.¹
     From 11 May 1934, her married name became McDonnell. After her marriage, Angela Christina Sykes was styled as Countess of Antrim on 11 May 1934.

     Sir Thomas Grenville was born circa 1450 at Bideford, Devon, England.² He was the son of Sir Thomas Grenville and Elizabeth Gorges.³ He married Isabel Gilbert, daughter of Sir Oters Gilbert, in 1473 at Stow, Cornwall, England.² He died on 18 March 1513 at Stow, Cornwall, England.^4,2
     He lived at Stowe, Cornwall, England.¹ He held the office of Esquire of the Body to King Henry VII.⁴ He held the office of Sheriff of Cornwall in 1481.⁴ He held the office of Sheriff of Cornwall in 1486.⁴ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 14 November 1501.⁴

     Rev. Hon. Alberic Edward Bertie was born on 14 November 1846.² He was the son of Montagu Bertie, 6th Earl of Abingdon and Elizabeth Lavinia Vernon-Harcourt.^1,2 He married Lady Caroline Elizabeth McDonnell, daughter of Captain Mark McDonnell, 5th Earl of Antrim and Jane Emma Hannah Macan, on 27 April 1881.¹ He died on 20 March 1928 at age 81.²
     He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was the Rector between 1887 and 1923 at Gedling, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Lady Caroline Elizabeth McDonnell was born circa 1854. She was the daughter of Captain Mark McDonnell, 5th Earl of Antrim and Jane Emma Hannah Macan.¹ She married Rev. Hon. Alberic Edward Bertie, son of Montagu Bertie, 6th Earl of Abingdon and Elizabeth Lavinia Vernon-Harcourt, on 27 April 1881.¹ She died on 23 February 1930.¹
     Her married name became Bertie.

     Lady Caroline Cavendish was born on 22 May 1719.¹ She was the daughter of William Cavendish, 3rd Duke of Devonshire and Catherine Hoskins.¹ She married William Ponsonby, 2nd Earl of Bessborough, son of Brabazon Ponsonby, 1st Earl of Bessborough and Sarah Margetson, on 5 July 1739.¹ She died on 20 January 1760 at age 40.¹ She was buried at All Saints Church, Derby, Derbyshire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby. After her marriage, Lady Caroline Cavendish was styled as Countess of Bessborough on 4 July 1758.

     Anne Frankland was born circa 1735.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick Meinhardt Frankland and Elizabeth Bawdowin.¹ She married Thomas Pelham, 1st Earl of Chichester, son of Thomas Pelham and Annetta Bridges, on 15 June 1754 at Mortlake, Surrey, England^G.¹ She died on 5 March 1813 at Malling, Sussex, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in June 1813.¹
     From 15 June 1754, her married name became Pelham. After her marriage, Anne Frankland was styled as Baroness Pelham of Stanmer on 17 November 1768. After her marriage, Anne Frankland was styled as Countess of Chichester on 2 June 1801.

     Frederick Meinhardt Frankland was the son of Sir Thomas Frankland, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Frances Russell.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Bawdowin, daughter of René Bawdowin.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Ann Lumley, daughter of Richard Lumley, 1st Earl of Scarbrough and Frances Jones, in February 1738/39.² He died on 8 March 1768.²
     He was a practising barrister.² He was Commissioner of Revenue in Ireland.² He was Commissioner of Excise.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)² He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England.²
