Charles Russell, Baron Russell of Killowen was born on 10 November 1832.1 He was the son of Arthur Russell and Margaret Mullan.2 He married Ellen Mulholland, daughter of Joseph Stevenson Mulholland, on 10 August 1858.3 He died on 10 August 1900 at age 67.1
