George Dundas was born in 1612.2 He was the son of James Dundas and Isabella Maule.3 He married Catherine Monypenny, daughter of Hon. John Monypenny and Susanna Colville, in 1636.2 He died in 1684.2
He fought in the English Civil War in 1649, as a Parliamentarian.2 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court between 1672 and 1677.2 He lived at Duddingston, West Lothian, ScotlandG.2 He had eleven other children.2
