George Sinclair of Ulbster was the son of John Sinclair of Ulbster and Henrietta Brodie.2 He married Janet Sutherland, daughter of William Sutherland, Lord Strathnaver and Catherine Morison, on 24 October 1740.3 He died in 1776.3

Mary Lyon Dennistoun was the daughter of James Dennistoun and Margaret Dreghorn.1 She married Sir William Baillie of Polkemmet, 1st Bt., son of William Baillie, Lord Polkemmet and Margaret Colquhoun, in 1815.1 She died on 17 December 1872.1

Sir William Baillie of Polkemmet, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 February 1816.1 He was the son of Sir William Baillie of Polkemmet, 1st Bt. and Mary Lyon Dennistoun.1 He married Mary Hathorn-Stewart, daughter of Stair Hathorn-Stewart, on 14 April 1846.1 He died on 21 July 1890 at age 74, without issue.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Linlithgowshire between 1844 and 1847.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Baillie, of Polkemmet, Linlithgowshire [U.K., 1823] on 28 January 1854.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1
