Martha Roberts was the daughter of Randal Roberts and Martha Westropp.1,2 A settlement for the marriage between her and Edward Galwey was made on 22 October 1790.1 She died, without issue.1

Randal Roberts was born on 16 May 1704.2 He is the son of Thomas Roberts and Jane Hodder.3 He married Martha Westropp, daughter of Ralph Westropp and Mary Bustead, on 2 February 1734.4
On 22 June 1775 the Ulster King of Arms allowed him the arms appearing on the seal of his grandfather, and stated he was lawfully descended in a direct line from Sir Thomas Roberts, Bt. of Glassenbury, Kent.5 He styled himself ‘Sir Randal Roberts, Bt.2' He lived at Brightfieldstown, County Cork, IrelandG.1 Jane, Duchess of Saint Albans, daughter and heiress of Sir Walter Roberts, 6th and it was assumed for a time (and may in fact be the case) last Bt, of Glassenbury, accepted his statement of a connection between the Roberts of Brightfieldstown and her own family, and willed the Glassenbury estate to his grandson, Thomas Walton Roberts.2

Hannah Hickman was the daughter of Poole Hickman.1 She married, firstly, William Harte before 1807.1 She married, secondly, Edward Galwey, son of John Galwey and Jane O'Bryen, on 2 July 1807.1 She died, without issue.1

Richard Galwey was born on 17 June 1757.1 He was the son of John Galwey and Jane O'Bryen.1 He married Margaret Creagh, daughter of Patrick Creagh and Margaret Trant, on 18 January 1787. He died on 18 February 1826 at age 68.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 14th Light Dragoons.1 Circa 1787 he acquired Killowen, near Kinsale, and re-named it Fort Richard.1 He lived at Fort Richard, County Cork, IrelandG.1
