Margaret Galwey was baptised on 4 November 1800.1 She was the daughter of Anthony Gerald Galwey and Mary Wyse.1 A settlement for the marriage between her and Colonel Walter Blackney was made on 1 July 1818.1 She died, without issue.1

Colonel Walter Blackney was the son of James Blackney and Gertrude Galwey.1 A settlement for the marriage between him and Margaret Galwey was made on 1 July 1818.1

John Galwey was the son of William Galwey and Mary Butler.2 A settlement for the marriage between him and Jane O'Bryen was made on 9 February 1739.2 He died on 7 September 1793.2
He was admitted to King's Inn, Dublin in 1734 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.2 On 18 May 1772 he re-settled the Lota estates.2 His last will was dated 27 December 1791 which directed that Westcourt be sold, to provide portions for his sons.2 He lived at Lota, County Cork, IrelandG.2 He lived at Westcourt, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.2
