Sir Gustavus Francis William Lambart, 1st Bt. was born on 25 March 1848.2 He was the son of Gustavus William Lambart and Lady Frances Caroline Maria Conyngham.3 He married Kathleen Barbara Sophia Moore-Brabazon, daughter of John Arthur Henry Moore-Brabazon and Emma Sophia Richards, on 13 September 1911.1 He died on 16 June 1926 at age 78.1
He was Chamberlain to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1876 and 1880.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Meath.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Battalion, Leinster Regiment.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Meath in 1901.2 He was Comptroller and Chamberlain to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1902 and 1905.2 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1903.2 He held the office of Secretary of the order of St. Patrick.2 He was created 1st Baronet Lambart, of Beau Parc, co.
