     Henry Alexander Farquhar-Spottiswood married Elizabeth Agnes Abercromby, daughter of Sir George Samuel Abercromby of Birkenbog, 6th Bt. and Hon. Agnes Georgiana Browne, on 1 June 1882.¹ He died on 10 August 1925.¹
     He lived at Muiresk, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Grace Amelia Abercromby was the daughter of Sir George Samuel Abercromby of Birkenbog, 6th Bt. and Hon. Agnes Georgiana Browne.¹ She married Keith William Murray, son of William Powell Murray and Georgiana Charlotte Daysh Turnour, on 28 December 1887.¹ She died on 11 January 1932.¹
     From 28 December 1887, her married name became Murray.¹

     Georgiana Charlotte Daysh Turnour was born circa 1835.² She is the daughter of Commander Hon. Arthur Richard Turnour and Charlotte FitzHerbert Daysh.^1,2 She married William Powell Murray on 27 July 1854.² She died on 29 February 1884.²
     From 27 July 1854, her married name became Murray.²

     Commander Hon. Arthur Richard Turnour was born on 14 January 1787.² He is the son of Edward Turnour, 2nd Earl Winterton and Jane Chapman.² He married Charlotte FitzHerbert Daysh, daughter of George Daysh, on 2 September 1829.² He died on 20 August 1853 at age 66.²
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.²

     Samuel Douglas Abercromby was born in 1825.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas.¹ He was baptised on 7 September 1825 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² He died on 16 May 1847.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 42nd Highlanders.¹

     Robert Abercromby was born on 2 August 1833.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas.¹ He was baptised on 13 August 1833 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² He died on 20 September 1854 at age 21 at The Alma^G, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Battle of Alma on 20 September 1854.

     David James Abercromby was born on 25 April 1837.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas.¹ He married Beatrice Jane Temple Frere, daughter of Reverend Henry Temple Frere and Sarah Maria Heath Jary, on 25 October 1877.¹ He died on 9 March 1918 at age 80.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1864 in the Royal Aberdeenshire Highland Militia.¹

     Beatrice Jane Temple Frere was the daughter of Reverend Henry Temple Frere and Sarah Maria Heath Jary.^1,2 She married David James Abercromby, son of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas, on 25 October 1877.¹ She died on 25 February 1909.¹
     From 25 October 1877, her married name became Abercromby.¹

     Reverend Henry Temple Frere was born on 22 November 1821.² He was the son of Reverend Temple Frere and Jane Richards.² He married Sarah Maria Heath Jary, daughter of William Heath Jary, on 18 September 1851.² He died on 26 November 1890 at age 69.²

     Robert Ogilvie Abercromby was born on 9 September 1881.¹ He was the son of David James Abercromby and Beatrice Jane Temple Frere.¹ He married, firstly, Gladys Vivian Boileau, daughter of Henry Willock Boileau, on 14 July 1921.¹ He married, secondly, Monica Margaret Monteith, daughter of Joseph Monteith and Florence Catherine Mary Herbert, on 19 May 1936.¹ He died on 11 May 1964 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Gordon Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Flying Corps.¹
