Lewis Bruce Knight-Bruce was born on 13 March 1819.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir James Lewis Knight-Bruce and Eliza Newte.1 He married Caroline Margaret Eliza Newte, daughter of Thomas Newte, on 31 May 1846.1 He died on 19 February 1906 at age 86.1
