Sir Charles Chad, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 April 1779.1 He was the son of Sir George Chad, 1st Bt. and Sarah Rowles.1 He married Lady Anne Turnour, daughter of Edward Turnour, 2nd Earl Winterton and Jane Chapman, on 14 June 1810.1 He died on 30 September 1855 at age 76 at 1 Gloucester Square, Hyde Park, London, EnglandG, without surviving issue.1 His will was proven (by probate) in October 1855.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Chad, of Thursford, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1791] on 24 November 1815.1
