Lady Mary Nugent was born on 21 February 1648.1 She was the daughter of Richard Nugent, 2nd Earl of Westmeath and Mary Nugent.2 She married Henry Barnewall, 2nd Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland, son of Nicholas Barnewall, 1st Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland and Lady Bridget FitzGerald, circa 29 November 1664.1 She died on 25 June 1680 at age 32.1 She was buried at LuskeG.1
From 29 November 1664, her married name became Barnewall.1 After her marriage, Lady Mary Nugent was styled as Viscountess Barnewall of Kingsland on 29 November 1664.

Jane Plunkett was the daughter of Christopher Plunkett, 8th Lord Killeen and Genet Dillon.1,2 She married Richard Nugent, 1st Earl of Westmeath, son of Christopher Nugent, 5th Baron Delvin and Lady Mary FitzGerald, before 1604.2 She died after 24 January 1626/27.3
